final day. Day 17

Today I didn't have much time due to working on my science fair and soccer training. But, I did vacuum my dads car, my dads car that was an absolute mess. The difference it made was that my dad didn't have to do it which means he can do other things like watch T.V and work and help my little brother go to bed. I feel good about this chore because it wasn't as easy as you think . I also hope that I will introduce these chores into my life.

Day 16

Today I decided to make up for not doing the 17 days to make a difference on Friday. So I decided I would put in an extra effort today. I took down the clothes from the washing line and folded them. I felt good about doing this chore because my parents didn't really expect it and it came to them as a real surprise. I also tried to clean upstairs, I didn't think I did a good job but I did do it. I then brought my brothers dishes up and pulled all the curtains down and turned my mum electric blanket on. I have also been emptying the dishwasher every morning. I know I have made a difference because helping out around the house helps my parents alot.

Day 15

Today I emtpied the dishwasher for my parents and they really appreciated it. I made a difference to my Dads day by making him early for work by helping out in the morning. I felt good about doing this chore because every little thing I do makes a big difference for my Mum and Dad, (so they say).

Day 14

Today Mum and I went to Foodtown and I helped her with the groceries. I also helped Mum take them up the stairs as she was already carrying alot of stuff. I know it made a difference because I was helping and my Mum likes it when I am helpful.

Day13

Today I made a difference by helping hang out the washing, it felt good doing something that my Mum and Dad appreciated. The difference it made was that my Mum didn't have to do all of it herself. I also picked up my brothers dirty dishes and rinsed them and put them in the dishwasher tonight. He of course didn't thank me but it made me feel good doing it.

Day 12

Today I helped my brother with his homework because my mum was cooking something and my mum could not go and help him so I helped him for a change. I feel alright about this chore, but I would feel better if my brother had thanked me, but it doesn't matter because I know he appreciated it. The difference it made was that my mum could keep her eye on the food.

Day 11

Today I helped my Mum by emptying the dishwasher. I know this made a difference as it saves my Mum time so she can do other things. I felt good about this because of the time it saved my Mum time and made her get to work on faster .

Day 10

Today I made a difference by helping my Nana clean up after dinner and dish up desert. I feel good about doing this chore because I am helping my Nana. Its good to help my Nana and Poppa because they need a bit of help. I know I made a difference because my whole family thanked me including my cousins and my brother.
